These lessons are no help to me here in Colombia as someone who lives and works here. It also feels as though about 1/3 of the lessons are about specific regional food and specific tourist locations (mainly in Mexico). For me this was unhelpful, as I am not interested in leaning European Spanish, that is not the course I took. They also include an entire course on the different words for the same items used in both rejoins. In the Latin American Spanish course they also include a lot of European pronunciations that are not helpful for someone trying to learn Latin American pronunciations. The app asks about your experience level before starting so I assumed the course would somehow adjust for this, that does not seem to be the case. Going into the course I already knew enough for basic conversation. I used Babbel for a bit and then got bored with it and stopped using it. There was reference to ‘policy’ Ts&Cs etc, and I still maintain it would be fairer if notice of impending renewal was given, but at least this is resolved and the support team performed well. ![]() Once I used the correct email address I received a prompt response and a refund which I am delighted about. I did not realise this until the email bounced back a week later, hence my frustration with the lack of response. I had inadvertently used the wrong email address to contact the support team - I used ‘Babble’.com not.
